ST. JOHN’S, NEWFOUNDLAND – June, 2024 – Travel writer and publisher Kevin Wagar joined a distinguished panel of industry leaders at the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC) conference in St. John’s, Newfoundland. The panel, moderated by Oxana St. John of Drink Tea & Travel, explored the evolving landscape of travel media and how small, independent publishers are adapting and thriving in the digital age.
Titled “Monetizing Your Travel Media Business,” the discussion featured insights from Wagar, Taryn Eton of Happiest Outdoors, and freelance travel writer Debbie Olsen. The panelists delved into the unique challenges and opportunities faced by independent publishers, including:
