Adapting to the new world of independent publishing by finding my voice.
With the Googlepocalypse hitting independent and small creators across the globe, I was faced with a dilemma. Continue doing things the “SEO” way or adapt, evolve, and redefine what it means for me to be a travel writer.
I opted to change and grow. To ditch the has-been “how-to’s” and guides and focus on the story, the experience, and the journey of travel. I wanted to connect with the meaning of each destination and convey how each place impacted my direction.
This new article on travel to Monemvasia, Greece, may just be my favorite new piece in this adapted travel writing style. One that is sure to grow, change, and hopefully inspire as I move forward in this journey.
